Jacob is the US bureau chief for The Times of Israel, the world's largest English language news site covering Israel and the Jewish world.


Based in New York City, he covers US politics, the United Nations and American Jewish life. From 2017-2020, Jacob was based in Tel Aviv where he covered West Bank settlements, Israeli politics and legal affairs.
